    Natasha,

Does the jar has to be a glass jar?

  • douceclaude says:

I have some water kefir grains, if I can find some coconut water in Asian stores I would like to try your recipes too.
    Great video.

I haven’t taken an antibiotic in 6 years. Should I still try to take probiotics? Is there any research which supports probiotics supplements being safe for the body? Is there a limit that is good for the body?

I am into raw foods but am not stirct or 100% about it. I usually make my own dairy yogurt but am embarking upon this vegan probiotic kefir thing. Question: if the yogurt you buy in stores is pastuerized than why does it work as a starter whenever I’ve made homemade yogurt from it?

I have probably watched this vid 4 times now… I finally got my three cultures and am trying the coconut water kefir.. it should be done later today if it is supposed to be 24 hours. but I do have a question…. what is the difference between 24 hours of no kefir grains and 24 hours with?

  • courtjays says:

Wow, I’m excited, can’t wait to try this.

Great video! I just got into coconut kefir and while doing research I heard Truth Caulkins say you dont even need a starter. And now your the only other source I heard that from =o) Do you follow daniel vitalis at all?

  • Squabbles10 says:

    This is great. Question.
I am having trouble finding B12 in the Raw Food Diet. Can you help me on this ?

  • Balloonboy13 says:

Wow, I always thought you needed some sort of starter to ferment coconut water. Are you really sure its safe to just let it sit by itself with no starter? What if the bad bacteria takes it over instead of the good bacteria?

  • starlight219 says:

Thanks for the great video! I am trying both your coconut kefir and yogurt recipes and have questions. First of all, my probiotic supplements are enteric-coated and sealed; the capsule doesn’t easily open like yours. What brand are you using? Secondly, I purchased kefir grains from body ecology and it looks like a white powder and not like the little brown nuggets you show in your video. How do I get those? I like the idea of being able to re-use the grains in making yogurt to save money

  • RawRadiantHealth says:

Yes the grains do keep multiplying. They live forever! Enjoy!

  • Mandy86lynn says:

Do the kefir grains keep growing?
Do the kefir grains ever have to be replaced or does one just strain & keep using them?

Thank you so much for all the awesome tips Natasha! :)

  • RawRadiantHealth says:

The probiotics will really help with your stomach issues and you may notice other improvements as well. Thanks for watching the videos:)

  • RawRadiantHealth says:

It depends on what you want to ferment? I would go with the water kefir grains.

  • IamDemetri00 says:

Whats better milk kefir grains or water kefir grains?

  • IamDemetri00 says:

Thanks so much for the video! Probiotics have been missing from my diet for a while now and I have had stomach problems my whle life- explains alot :-) Great video!

  • RawRadiantHealth says:

Sounds like its done!! You can just tell by the sour taste and definitely by the scent. The coconut water should no longer be sweet, but sour tasting. Enjoy!!

  • logsliderrjh says:

Your welcome! I have tried this and it seems to work with coconut water about a day and a half in the cupboard and nothing extra added. It tastes a little sour so I figured it was done. I did not notice any fizzing though how to y ou know for sure if it is finished?
    Thanks!

  • RawRadiantHealth says:
